The Society for Clinical & Medical Hair Removal, Inc
The Society for Clinical and Medical Hair Removal, Inc. (SCMHR) is an international non-profit organization with members in the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan and beyond. SCMHR supports all methods of hair removal and is dedicated to the research of new technology that will keep its members at the pinnacle of their profession, offering safe, effective hair removal to their clients.
The SCMHR also serves the public with information on the newest technology in hair removal and offer the only national certification aimed toward physicians, nurses, and medical estheticians to gauge/show their knowledge of this profession.
SCMHR Standards of Practice
These standards offer safety for the patients and give basic guidelines for clinicians both statewide and nationally.
